FREE UK SHIPPING FOR PURCHASES MADE ONLINE!Wing Tip Covers for the EurostarSet of 4 Aircraft Wing Covers (2 covers for main wing tips and 2 covers for tailplane) to fit the wings and tailplane of the Eurostar EV 97.
Maneuvering an aircraft in and out of the hangar can be precarious, especially when the hangar is full. If not extremely careful, it is easy to damage the wings, while moving the aircraft to or from its parking position. It is also possible to accidentally catch and damage a tip of the wing or a tailplane of another parked aircraft.
Damage to the wings and especially the vulnerable wing tips can be very costly and the repairs can take a long time. Protecting the vulnerable wing tips from accidental damage in a hangar is the solution!
Aircraft Wing Covers have been designed to provide protection to the vulnerable wing tips and to the tailplane. The Aircraft Wing Covers are made with great precision and the fit is guaranteed! Each set of wing covers consists of 4 separate pieces that protect the tips of the main wings (2 pieces) and the tailplane (2 pieces).
The protective wing covers are made of 3 layers of special fabrics:
The inner layer is made from super soft stay dry brushed polyester, which ensures that the fabric in contact with the wing surface is smooth and soft. In addition to the softness, the brushed polyester transfers any residual moisture (i.e. rain droplets, condensation) from the surface of the wing into the middle layer of the wing cover, thus keeping the wing surface dry.
The middle layer is made from soft absorbent non woven felt that gives the wing cover its protective cushioning bulk. The middle layer is absorbent and stores any moisture soaked up from the wing surface.
The outer layer is made from special multicoated polyester that is waterproof, breathable, flame retardant and 'wipe and dry' for easy cleaning.
The wing covers are white, which makes them easily noticeable even when the lighting in the hangar is not bright. This helps people walking around the parked aircraft or moving aircraft in and out of the parked positions to be extra vigilant around the outer tips of the aircraft wings.
You can dress the wing tips of your light aircraft with the wing covers prior to entering the hangar and remove the wing covers after the aircraft has been maneuvered out from its parking place onto the apron.
Using the wing covers gives you the confidence that the wing tips of your aircraft are protected from accidental damage that may occur in a hangar.
