The relaxing 30 minute long treatment involves placing your feet into a spa bowl filled with warm salty water. An energising cartridge creates a flow of electrons and a bioenergetic field that provides a relaxing and enjoyable treatment. Bio-Energiser Detox Foot Spa works by re-balancing the equilibrium between positive and negative ions, normalising absorption and elimination processes. During the treatment you will notice progressive change in the colour of the water. This is perfectly normal and happens mostly due to electrolytic reaction between metallic array and saline solution (salty water). You will also notice some floating deposits on top of the water. Again, this is perfectly normal and can be caused by many different factors, such as water source (i.e. type of water tank or pipes), type of water (i.e. hard or soft), remnants of dead surface skin cells on your feet, residues of soaps, creams and balms left on your feet and washed into the spa water and also substances released during the treatment from your lymphatic drainage and sebaceous glands.

However, please note that the changes in the colour of the water are not the expression of successful detoxification nor do they prove the effectiveness of this type of detoxifying treatment.

The main effect of the detox foot spa treatment is a specific stimulation of reflex points - also called reflexology points - located on the soles of the feet. Reflexology is based on a belief that reflex points or nerve zones located on the soles of our feet connect with other parts of our bodies - our head and all other vital body organs.
