Crystal Renew Precautions and Contraindications

" You should not use Rio Crystal Renew if you suffer skin conditions, such as acne, rosacea, eczema, skin growth or any other skin problems, including broken or damaged skin or where capillary vessels can be seen. You should also not use the Crystal Renew, if you are a sufferer of multiple sclerosis.

" The manufacturer recommends that a patch test on a small area of the skin on the neck is performed 24 hours before full facial microdermabrasion treatment.

" Do not use more than once a week. It is best to leave 7 days between treatments or at least a minimum of 48 hours between treatments on the same area. Before going into the sunshine after microdermabrasion treatment with Crystal Renew, use a sunscreen with a sun protection factor of at least 20.

Crystal Renew Treatment Areas:

" Forehead Microdermabrasion with Crystal Renew: Using a smooth and slow action move the Crystal Renew Wand up the centre of the forehead. From the central point of your hairline, move the Wand to the left side and repeat down the forehead. From the same starting position, repeat on the right side. Do not apply too much pressure and avoid going over the same area repeatedly.

" Temple Microdermabrasion with Crystal Renew: Move the Wand outwards towards the hairline. Remember that it is important to keep the skin taut. Keep the Wand at least 2 cm away from the eyes and avoid sensitive skin areas.

" Nose Microdermabrasion with Crystal Renew: From the upper ridge of the nose move the Wand downwards. Start back at the upper ridge of the nose, move down one side of the nose and then the other side.

" Cheeks Microdermabrasion with Crystal Renew: Move the Wand outwards from the nose and repeat down the cheeks, Remember to keep skin taut.

" Lips Microdermabrasion with Crystal Renew: Move the Wand to the left and right sides of the upper lip. Then move to the left and right under the bottom lip. Avoid directly touching the lips.

" Jawline Microdermabrasion with Crystal Renew: Move the Wand upwards from your chin and fill in any untreated areas.

" Neck Microdermabrasion with Crystal Renew: Move the Wand upwards towards the jawline.
