NeuroTrac Myo Plus delivers EMG triggered Stimulation
The EMG Triggered Stimulation (ETS) is a combination of EMG (electromyography) and Stimulation, where the EMG is used as a threshold to trigger the stimulation. The user/ the patient must achieve a pre-set EMG threshold before the neuromuscular stimulation phase is triggered. At the end of each work phase the Neurotrac Myo Plus device reverts back to the EMG rest phase and further stimulation cannot start till the user/ patient reaches the pre-set EMG threshold.
In the automatic mode, the Neurotrac Myo Plus will continually monitor the patient's work efforts. If the patient finds achieving the threshold too difficult, the Neurotrac Myo Plus will automatically reduce the threshold. In the same way, if the patient finds reaching the threshold too easy, the Neurotrac Myo Plus device increase the threshold level accordingly.
Neurotrac Myo Plus delivers Passive and Active combination of EMG Biofeedback and Neuromuscular Stimulation
The initial phase is Passive EMG, which entails a Work / Rest or a pre-set template followed by an Active phase of neuromuscular stimulation. The Passive and Active regime is a treatment particularly beneficial for patients requiring to work under their own muscle initiative, followed by assisted muscle stimulation. This form of treatment has a powerful effect on improving the muscle tone and movement, whilst also improving relevant responses in the brain.
Neurotrac Myo Plus delivers effective Neuromuscular Stimulation
When using stimulation , it is very important to set the stimulation parameters correctly. The EMG diagnosis helps to determine the most effective modes to set or for pre-set or to actively select. The Neurotrac Myo Plus also offers custom programs that enable the clinician to choose from a wide range of pulse widths (µS), frequencies (Hz), work/rest, ramp up or ramp down and overall duration times. Additionally, up to 5 phases per program can be set up, each with own frequencies and individual pulse width, ramp up, ramp down and duration time.
