Before first use, read enclosed User Instructions and watch instructional DVD.
The aim of the treatment is to heat the skin from within throughout the entire treatment area and then maintain the temperature for a few minutes. During treatment you will simply move the STOP device evenly and slowly over your face, maintaining the four pole electrodes in constant contact with the skin.
Please note that you must always spread the STOP preparation gel on the treated area prior to commencing the treatment!
Spread the preparation gel on your face, set your preferred treatment level (low - medium - high) and turn the STOP device on.
Warming Up Stage
In the first stage of the treatment you will warm up your skin by moving the STOP over different parts of your face in slow circular motion. You should warm up the skin on your entire face, moving from one area to the adjacent area until you cover your entire face. The STOP device will indicate, when the skin on the area worked on is suitably warmed up and you should move to the adjacent area.
The Warming Up Stage takes approximately 5 minutes.
Maintaining Heat Level Stage
The effectiveness of the treatment depends on the heat level being maintained over a period of time. Once you have completed the Warming Up of the entire face, you should commence on maintaining of the temperature.
You will achieve this by simply continuing to move the STOP device freely over the entire face in small circular or elliptical motion. This will ensure uniformity of the heat and temperature. You also can augment the treatment by performing 'lifting' movements from the jowl line upwards towards the cheeks.
The Maintaining Heat Level Stage takes approximately 7 - 10 minutes. At the end of this stage, the safety mechanism on the STOP device will turn the green light on the device off to indicate to you that you have achieved the optimum heating and optimum time required and you should end the treatment. At this point, cease the treatment and turn the device off.
After treatment, you should remove the residue of the STOP Skin Preparation Gel and moisturize your face with the STOP After Treatment Cream. For best results, you should always follow the Stop treatment with an application of the Stop After Treatment Cream. Use of other creams may significantly reduce the effects of the treatment.
The complete STOP treatment session should have lasted between 12 - 15 minutes.
