Rescue Ready technology incorporated into the Powerheart AED G3 Semi-Automatic Defibrillator self tests the defibrillator and ensures anytime functionality:

• Every day a check is performed on all main components - battery, hardware, software and pads.
• Every week a partial charge of the high voltage electronics is completed.
• Every month a full energy charge of the high voltage electronics is completed.

If anything is amiss, the Rescue Ready status indicator on the handle changes from green to red and the device emits an audible alert to prompt the user or the keeper to service the unit, thus ensuring that the Powerheart AED G3 Semi-Automatic Defibrillator is Rescue Ready, when someone's life depends on it.

Powerheart PLUS AED G3 Semi-Automatic Defibrillator is easy to use and almost anyone can operate it to save a life in a cardiac arrest emergency. It delivers life saving defibrillation therapy at a push of a shock button. Once the defibrillation pads are attached to the patient, the device detects the heart rhythm, analyses it and if a life threatening situation is detected, the device gives clear instruction when to push the shock button and stand clear for the delivery of the defibrillation shock.

The Powerheart AED G3 Semi Automatic Defibrillator features voice prompts that talk the rescuers through the rescue process:

• When the rescuer applies the pads, the defibrillator analyses the heart rhythm and 'knows' when the shock is to be delivered.
• The shock is delivered at a simple push of a shock button, when prompted by a voice prompt.
• The text screen lends extra help in the turmoil of the emergency situation.

Variable escalating energy feature - Powerheart AED Defibrillator determines the electrical impedance (resistant level) of each patient and customizes the energy delivered. If more than one shock is necessary, the proprietary STAR biphasic software escalates the energy to deliver therapy at an appropriate level.
