The aim of the treatment is to heat the skin from within throughout the entire treatment area and then maintain the temperature for a few minutes. During treatment you will simply move the TriPollar STOP device evenly and slowly over your face, maintaining the four pole electrodes in constant contact with the skin.

Please note that you must always spread the STOP preparation gel on the treated area prior to commencing the treatment!

Spread the preparation gel on your face, set your preferred treatment level (low – medium – high) and turn the TriPollar STOP device on.    

• Warming Up Stage

In the first stage of the treatment you will warm up your skin by moving the TriPollar STOP over different parts of your face in very slow circular motion from one very small area to another. You should warm up the skin on your entire face, moving from one area to the adjacent area until you cover your entire face. The TriPollar STOP device indicates, when the skin on the area treated is suitably warmed up by flickering an orange indicator light. You should remain on the same area for few more seconds and then move on to the adjacent area. You should warm up the skin on your entire face in this systematic way. 

Some users may not see the ORANGE light at all. This does not mean that the TriPollar Stop Clinical Skin Renewal is faulty. If you do not see the flickers of the orange light, use the heat perception on your skin to guide you in moving from one area to another. As time goes and you become proficient in your technique - you may eventually see the orange light to flicker and even to light up steadily. Remember - you cannot burn yourself - the STOP device will switch itself off and the GREEN light will disapear as soon as the temperature reaches pre-set safety level.   

'Practical tips for the STOP clinical skin renewal device User Beginners from an Experienced TriPollar STOP User:

• Put the treatment gel on your face, ensuring that you cover thinly and evenly all your face or the areas that you intend to treat with the TriPollar STOP. You must not treat the areas that have not been covered with the STOP gel!
• Select a very small area to treat - no more than 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diamemeter. I always start on one of my cheeks. 
• Select the setting - during first treatment start with low and change into higher settings when appropriate - if you do not see the orange light flickering or if you feel that the STOP does not heat up your skin significantly. For subsequent treatments, you can start at the setting last used. You will find that once you have developed a routine and you are experienced and comfortable with performing your STOP treatments, you will use the same setting time after time.  
• Move the STOP very slowly - VERY SLOWLY - in a very slow rotating movement ensuring that the contacts on the STOP's treatment head always stay in contact with the skin.
• Do not worry about seeing or not seeing the ORANGE light - use the heat perception on your skin as your guide on when to move over to the next treatment spot. Orange light is only an indicator that is not a necessity! Basically, when you feel it is getting too hot for you, move over. You will also note that the skin in the treated small area is getting intensly pink and the feeling of warmth in it is intensifying. As you become experienced in carrying out your Stop self treatment, you will see that the Orange light will function well and you will be able to use it as true indicator when to move to next treatment area. In simple words, you will move on to a new area to be warmed up few seconds after the Orange light appeared in the previously treated area, indicating appropriately warmed up skin.  
• To repeat - move over to the next area when you feel that the first area you have treated has been sufficiently heated. With proficiency, you will be able to carry out the second stage of the treatment maintaining the heat at constant and Orange light being on constantly as you go over your face.   
• It is important to note that you do not need to worry about burning your skin - the STOP will not allow you to burn your skin - the TriPollar STOP's safety mechanism will shut it down, if temperature reaches pre-set level. When or if this happens - the GREEN light will disappear. If you were to watch the GREEN light very closely, you may note that sometimes it flickers - this signifies that the devices switches itself on and off to prevent overheating over the preset safe temperature. If you do not see it flickering - this means that you are moving within the safe heating temperatures. 
• Remember - you need to treat very small area and use your skin's heat perception as your guide. Do not concern yourself with the orange light. Keep moving slowly and steadily over the selected area and move on from one treatment spot to another spot when you feel your skin is hot. Move slowly, but do NOT ever cease the movement.
• As you gain experience with using TriPollar STOP, you will see that the orange light works well and becomes your guide to your effective treatment, namely the speed in which you will warm up your face and then maintain the heat during the 2nd stage of the treatment. Remeber that one the orange light turns on, it indicates that you have reached the optimal temperature - keep treating the same area for a few more seconds and move on to adjacent area.

The effectiveness of the treatment depends on the heat level being maintained over a period of time. Once you have completed the Warming Up of the entire face, you should commence on maintaining of the temperature.

You will achieve this by simply continuing to move the TriPollar STOP device freely over the entire face in small circular or elliptical motion. This will ensure uniformity of the heat and temperature. You also can augment the treatment by performing ‘lifting’ movements from the jowl line upwards towards the cheeks.

After you have completed the initial warming up stage, go over your entire face again covering larger areas in slow upward sweeping movements.
