Thermofocus 01500A3 enables the user to take the body temperature from the forehead and other parts of the body as well as check temperature of other objects in the room. It has a temperature range from 1ºC to 55ºC (33.8º to 131ºC). The LCD display automatically shows room temperature when in stand by.

Thermofocus 01500A3 non contact thermometer features both the AQCS and the MQCS, which means that the thermometer can be stabilised to a changed temperature of environment both automatically and manually. Automatic Quick Calibration System (AQCS) takes circa 5 minutes, regardless of the magnitude of temperature difference. Manual Quick Calibration System (MQCS) for immediate stabilization versus a reference object inside the room takes only 3 seconds.

You can set the measurements to be displayed in ºC (Celsius) or ºF (Fahrenheit).

Accuracy level at forehead according to SSTM R 1965 - 98 (2009) standard:

36 to 39 ºC: +/- 0.2º C

39.1 to 42.5 ºC: +/- 0.3º C

After 20 seconds of non-use, the thermometer goes on stand by, whilst storing the room temperature for 4 hours before turning itself off.

Memory button allows recall of the last 9 measurements.

Thermofocus multi purpose functionality means that in addition to body temperature, you can use your Thermofocus to monitor the ambient room temperature or measure temperature of objects in the room, such as bottles with baby milk and plates of foodstuffs or take a temperature of the bath water before bathing your baby. You can do this simply by pointing the thermometer on the objects in a similar was as when taking body temperature.

Thermofocus is economical to use and does not require costly maintenance. It is battery powered with battery life expectancy of 10 000 measurements or 3 years, depending on use. Thermofocus thermometers use 4 x AAA (LR03 type) alkaline batteries.

The only step you must take to maintain Thermofocus is to close the cap at the tip of the device to protect it from dust and damage.
