Training Pelvic Floor with Laselle Kegel Routine

Using Laselle Kegel Routine as well as the individual Laselle Resistance Balls is simple.

  • First of all – read user manual and follow recommendations and precautions.
  • Wash Laselle ball weight prior to and after each use.
  • Commence training with the Laselle Light Resistance Ball (28 g). Continue for 2 – 3 weeks and if your muscles feel stronger, progress to the next weight and so on. After reaching high resistance training of 48 g level, you can increase resistance training weight through combining balls by linking retraction cords.
  • Start using Laselle in a lying down position as this helps your muscles to exercise with minimum efforts and get accustomed with resistance muscle training. As you develop muscle strength, you will be able to perform Kegel resistance training whilst standing up – lifting the ball weight against gravity adds resistance to the training, potentiating its effects.
  • Each Laselle ball weight contains an inner ball that emits gentle vibrations during movements, enabling you to feel that the ball weight exercises is correctly placed.
  • Insert Laselle ball weight approximately 2 cm inside, using water soluble lubricant for extra comfort. Ensure retraction cord if left outside your body for easy removal after completion of the Kegel workout.
  • Contract your muscles around the Laselle ball weight and lift upwards and hold the contraction for 2 seconds. As your muscles strengthen, progressively increase the contraction holding time by increments of 2 seconds. For most advanced Kegel training, you should be able to hold the contraction for 10 seconds.
  • Release the contraction and relax and rest – ensure you rest for the time equal to the time you held the contraction or longer – this prevents muscle fatigue that could impair the effectiveness of muscle training. For instance hold for 6 seconds – rest for at least 6 seconds. With time as your muscles grow stronger, the rest time can be shortened to comfortable intervals as appropriate for you.
  • Repeat this routine for up to 10 times or as many times as it is comfortable.
  • For an effective training, perform Kegel workout 3 times a week (i.e. on alternate days).

Please note that correct Kegel training does not involve abdominal muscles tensing, squeezing of buttocks or straining and pushing down during contractions.

It is important to breathe deeply during Kegel exercises. Breathing facilitates fluid movements and helps you create a smooth rhythm of contractions for greater effectiveness.

Regular Kegel workout with Laselle exercisers can help you achieve your peak pelvic floor strength and maintain it thereafter.
