The garment is crafted from a double-layered fabric that securely holds incontinence pads in place, while the wide crotch design ensures comfort and safety. Additionally, the TailBone model includes a protective airPad over the coccyx, offering extra protection for individuals who are prone to backward falls or swaying.

This style of hip protector is available in both male and female versions, offered in a practical beige colour that resists stains and discoloration. The range includes six different sizes for both men and women, ensuring a comfortable fit for all.

For continuous protection, it is recommended to wear HipSaver both day and night. The soft, yet durable fabric ensures that the protector remains comfortable while offering consistent protection.

The male version features a simulated fly front, while the female version is offered in a regular model. Both designs use a robust yet soft fabric that stretches horizontally for a snug fit, while maintaining vertical stability to ensure proper placement of the incontinence wear.

To ensure you select the correct size, it is essential to measure around the hip, specifically the circumference around the body at the level of the upper thighs, known as the trochanter areas. This area can be easily identified by placing a hand on the side of the hip and moving the knee upward; the trochanter moves when the knee is raised.

HipSaver garments are designed to be both durable and easy to maintain. They are fully machine washable at high temperatures (up to 95°C), and can be tumble dried on medium heat. This high-temperature compatibility makes them ideal for use in care homes or hospitals where stringent hygiene standards are enforced.

When washing HipSaver garments at home, they can be treated like regular personal clothing, ensuring optimal hygiene. The airPads, which are permanently sewn into the garment over the hips, are watertight and can withstand high temperature washing and tumble drying without being removed.

It is generally recommended to have at least three pairs of HipSaver garments – one to wear, one for washing, and one ready for use. Individuals with higher levels of incontinence may require additional pairs depending on their needs.

The fabric composition is 46% polyester, 46% cotton, and 8% Spandex, ensuring flexibility and durability. HipSaver garments are completely free from latex.
