Vaginal Balloon Probe RU/V2STFW with 2 Ring Electrodes is indicated for pelvic floor rehabilitation and continence therapy with pressure biofeedback, EMG biofeedback and electric stimulation.
Vaginal Balloon Probe RU/V2STFW comprises of a silicone balloon inflated with a standard volume of air and 2 gold plated nickel free ring electrodes. The permanent pre-inflation of the silicone balloon with a standard amount of air ensures greater precision of the pressure biofeedback measurements.
Please note that pre-inflation of the silicone balloon of the RU/V2STFW presents an advantage over traditional pressure probes with deflated balloons that require manual inflation after insertion of the probe. Manual inflation cannot guarantee that the same amount of air enters the balloon and consequently, the measurements obtained may not be easily reproducible and precise.
Vaginal Balloon Probe RU/V2STFW with 2 Ring Electrodes is indicated for use with pressure measuring devices equipped with standard connections (ISO 594). The RU/V2STFW must only be used with devices of following specifications: biphasic pulse current, zero net DC average, 100 mA maximum current, ± 80V maximum voltage (160 volts peak to peak).
