Neurotrac MyoPlus2 EMG ETS STIM

Neurotrac MyoPlus2 is a dual channel EMG machine combined with 2 channels of neuromuscular stimulation. The MyoPlus2 is a versatile device that can be configured as a dual or a single channel EMG, ETS (EMG Triggered Stimulator) with 2 EMG and 2 Stimulation channels. It can also work as a neuromuscular stimulator only on 2 channels with mA control.

EMG (Electromyography) helps the therapist to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions and the patient to monitor their progress with an accurate audio and visual biofeedback.

Neuromuscular Stimulation (NMS/STIM) utilises the mechanisms between nerves and muscles to stimulate neuromuscular system with precise electrical signals.

Neurotrac MyoPlus2 can be used conveniently as a stand alone device or in conjunction with established multilingual Neurotrac Software and a PC for storage of data, multiple patient database and in depth analysis of results. Use of Neurotrac Software is especially useful for physiotherapists treating many patients and keeping and analysisng large quantities of data.

Each of these modes has a set of programmes with up to 5 time phases. Each phase is EMG or STIM or ETS.

Additionally, Neurotrac MyoPlus2 has 4 custom clinical modes:

You can use Neurotrac MyoPlus2 with or without a link up to a PC. The optional Neurotrac Software will enable you to process, manage, store and analyse data of thousands of patients. Neurotrac Software is especially useful for physiotherapists and other clinicians using the Neurotrac device for multiple patients at clinics.

Amongst other useful features of Neurotrac MyoPlus2 is a concealed button, which enables the therapist to accurately monitor Patient Daily Adherence to prescribed home treatment course.

Contraindications & Precautions

Neuromuscular stimulation should not be used by:

Patients with demand style cardiac pacemakers
During pregnancy - unless medically advised or supervised
People with undiagnosed pain conditions
Skin electrodes must not be placed over carotid sinus nerves, over larynx or trachea, inside mouth, on anaesthetized or desensitized skin
Not on the face, unless under strict guidance from a qualified physician
During driving or operating machinery
