Pjama^® Bedwetting Treatment Shorts, grey in colour, are designed to be used with the Pjama Bedwetting Alarm. The Pjama Bedwetting Alarm, placed near the child’s bed, has a moisture sensor that detects wetness. When the moisture sensor is placed in the Pjama Treatment Shorts, it triggers the alarm as soon as it detects wetness. The Pjama Bedwetting Alarm then sounds an audible alert to wake the child and notify the parents.

About Pjama^® Bedwetting Alarm and DryGuardians App 

The Pjama Bedwetting Alarm works with the Pjama Bedwetting Treatment Shorts and can be used in conjunction with the free DryGuardians App, available from the Apple Store and Google Play. The app tracks bedwetting incidents and monitors treatment progress, offering data that can be shared with healthcare professionals for further insights and treatment recommendations. The DryGuardians App also offers a silent vibration alarm option for added privacy.

The Pjama Bedwetting Alarm includes a rechargeable alarm unit and a moisture sensor that attaches inside the garment. The alarm unit is rechargeable via USB and comes with a 12-month warranty. The moisture sensor does not require charging.

Using the alarm is simple:

1. Charge the alarm unit fully.
2. Attach the moisture sensor to the buttons inside the pocket of the Pjama Treatment Shorts.
3. Place the alarm unit within 10 meters of the bed.
4. Activate the alarm by pressing a button.
5. Select a preferred sound from 7 different options.
6. Ensure your child wears the grey Pjama Shorts before bed.
7. After use, turn off the alarm and remove the sensor from the shorts for washing or storage.

The alarm sounds immediately when the sensor detects moisture in the shorts, waking the child to use the bathroom and alerting the parents. With continued use over several weeks, it is likely that the child will naturally start waking up before wetting the bed or will learn to hold their urine until morning. If bedwetting returns, the alarm treatment can be repeated until the child stops wetting the bed.

It was developed with bedwetting experts and the Swedish healthcare system to offer a comprehensive solution for bedwetting treatment. The app provides personalized advice, daily insights, and instructions tailored to the user's progress.

The DryGuardians App analyses bedwetting data daily, helping users achieve dry nights and build confidence during treatment. It is available for free on the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.

For best fit, measure the waist with a soft tape measure. Select the size based on waist circumference, not age.

More About Pjama Treatment Shorts

Pjama Treatment Shorts are made from skin-friendly, soft materials with a breathable, waterproof membrane on the outside. The inside of the shorts is made of superabsorbent materials that contain urine. The fabric composition includes 90% Tencel, 5% Polypropylene, 4% Elastane, and 1% Polyurethane. All fabrics used in Pjama garments are Oeko-Tex certified.

Pjama Treatment Shorts offer a discreet bedwetting solution, absorbing and containing liquid to keep the bed dry. There is no need for additional waterproof bed sheets or mattress protectors. The shorts are most effective when worn directly on the skin without undershorts. After a wetting accident, the outside remains dry, while the inside becomes moist, alerting the child to change into a dry garment. Wet Pjama garments should be stored in the waterproof Pjama bag until washing.

Caring for Pjama Treatment Shorts

Caring for Pjama garments is simple. Turn the garment inside out and machine wash at up to 60°C with a high spin cycle. Hang to air dry or tumble dry on low heat below 60°C. Use gentle detergents without fabric softeners or conditioners. Do not iron or dry clean the shorts.
